Wife catches pastor husband sleeping with female church member on office floor

A supposed man of God, Prophet Femi Oseni, has been exposed by his wife, Doris, as a sex pervert who sleeps with his female church members, married and single.

The 42-year-old woman who is an Evangelist in her husband's church, opened up in a divorce suit she filed before a Customary Court in Ondo town, Ondo State, that she had caught her husband of 12 years several times with other women but that the last straw that broke the Camel's back was when she caught him having sex with another woman on the floor of the church office.

Evangelist Doris wants the court to dissolve her marriage on the ground of adultery, desertion and lack of love on the part of the husband.

She revealed to the court that her husband’s behaviour towards her changed after seven years of their marriage with no child, and since then, he threw caution to the wind and has been sleeping with different women, most of whom were members of his congregation.

She narrated that on the day she caught her husband in the final act, he had left home to an unknown destination and was not seen for several days and then decided to go looking for him.

She then traced her husband to his church in a village not far from Ondo town where she caught him red handed having sex on the floor of the church office with one of the women in the church.

As a result of this, she said she was fed up of the relationship and prayed the court to separate them.

Doris also accused the husband of having a child out of wedlock, who she said was a product of his extra-marital affairs.

But the 45-year-old Prophet Oseni pleaded with the court not to dissolve the marriage, saying he still loved the woman, whom he described as a virtuous woman that had been taking care of him since he married her.

But the President of the Court, Joshua Adunbi, would not buy his plea as he said that with the words and body language of the woman, she was no longer interested in the marriage, and therefore dissolved it accordingly.

Special Assistant to Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State, Mr. Bode Olugbore, following the death of 29-year-old, Kemi Arobieke.

Kemi, who the family claimed was Olugbore’s lover, was found dead in the ex-SSA’s apartment on Saturday, August 8.

Our correspondents gathered that Kemi, an event planner, came from Lagos to visit Olugbore in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Thursday, August 6, and promised to return on Saturday.

It was learnt that Kemi’s family, however, got a call on Sunday that the lady had been electrocuted in the ex-SSA’s apartment, and her corpse had been deposited in a mortuary.

It was gathered that the matter was reported at the Dada Police Division, and policemen from the station removed the corpse from the apartment, with the ex-SSA arrested thereafter.

The deceased’s elder brother, Ayoola, who confirmed the death of his sister to our correspondents on the telephone on Tuesday said, Kemi had known Olugbore for about four years, but the family initially did not know about their relationship.

He said he, Kemi and Olugbore were members of the same church in Lagos, adding that her sister told the family that the suspect had separated from his wife, who had three children for him.

Ayoola, said the explanation sounded illogical as there were no traces of burn either on her body or on the fan.

Our correspondents gathered that Olugbore’s lawyer’s said the ex-SSA was not in his apartment at the time of the incident, adding that Kemi’s death was a domestic accident.

The Arobieke’s family lawyer, identified only as Olayiwola, told our correspondents that the result of the autopsy was with the police, adding that both families would be invited by the police.

The Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Folashade Odoro, confirmed the arrest.

She added that investigation was ongoing on the matter.

“I don’t know about who is involved, but the suspect has been arrested by the police. Investigation is also ongoing on the matter. When things like this happen, the first suspect is the owner of the apartment. So, he was arrested immediately.”

The governor’s media aide, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, when contacted declined to comment on the matter.

An hotelier, Mr. Clifford Osawaru, got the shock of his life when he got calls from family and friends asking if he was actually dead. The calls came after posters announcing his death were pasted on some streets in Okunmwun community, Ovia North East local government area of Edo State. Osawaru, 66, who was visibly shocked, said he was surprise that people could announce his death and burial arrangement while he was still hale and hearty. The hotelier explained that he had been at loggerheads with some members of the community over illegal sale of land. The father of 13 said his battle with the people started after he went to court to restrain them from engaging in unlawful sale of land without the consent of elders‎. He urged the police to unmask the culprits behind the act. He said:- “I was made the patron of the community by the Odionwerie and the elders. But some youths abandoned their jobs and focused their minds on selling land with fake paper in our community without the consent of the elders and myself. “So, the Odionwerie and I went to court and restrained them from selling land. Then they said that I was the one behind it (preventing them from selling land). “That was why they printed this paper (obituary). Yesterday (Thursday) my relation told me about it and sent me a copy. ‘I was raped by every member of the cult on the day of my initiation’ ■ She was lucky only 20 slept with her – Male student suspect In recent times, the police have beamed their searchlight on cult activities across the country. This has led to several raids that have yielded results in Lagos, Anam­bra and Rivers states, as cultists were rounded up in their hundreds. Among those arrested was a 16-year-old girl, Ifechukwu Atunanya, who claimed that she was forced to sleep with every male member of the cult during her initiation. Recovered from them were guns, matchet and several wraps of Indian hemp. Ifechukwu was among 75 suspected cult members who were rounded up by Anambra State Police command on July 3, 2015. All the suspects were alleged to be members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity and were all arrested in a bush in Awka during the initia­tion of new members. According to the state Commissioner of Police, Hosea Karma, the police acted on an intelligence report that the cult members and their new entrants were in a bush performing some rituals. The raid was conducted by the Anti-Cultism Squad led by Supol Dickson Osamuonyi. Part of their ritual, he explained, includes sleeping with female intending members. He said they do that in order to secure their oath of secrecy. It was during the raid that 16-year-old Ifechukwu was arrested. At the police station, Ifechukwu, a second­ary school dropout and member, claimed that she had to travel to Anambra from Abuja just to witness the initiation of new members. “I joined them three months ago and during my initiation, I was forced to have s*x with every registered member of the cult present that night. I was given a sedative so as not to feel what they were doing. It was not easy, but I bore the pain,” she said. Her parents, who are from Anambra State, are still alive. However, Ifechukwu said that they were not aware of her secret cult ac­tivities. “I got to know about the cult activity through a friend. She assured me that all the connection that I needed in this life will be made if I joined the group. I am from a poor family and I wanted to be the light that will change the situation in my family. “She never told me that I will be raped till the day of initiation. The day we were initiated, I was the only girl in their midst. Al­though, I have not started reaping the gains, I was determined to be a successful member. I was further convinced to stay because I dis­covered that they are more honourable than the others. I am sorry and would love to be given the opportunity to go back to school. I never knew that it is crime to be a member. I am sorry,” Ifechukwu pleaded. Another member, Ugochukwu Agbazuo, who also spoke with Saturday Sun, said that they are all undergraduates of various institu­tions in Anambra. “Apart from some of our national leaders, we are all students. I was ini­tiated into the cult while I was still in my first year. I had no choice but to join them because of the harassment in school. I discovered that most of the Engineering students in my school were members of different cult groups. “Again, if you identify with a known cult in school, the lecturers will respect you. You don’t have to buy handouts or offer bribe to get credit in a course. This was why I joined them,” he said. Ugochukwu insisted that they did not steal or harass innocent people. “The guns that were found with us were bought in case there was a clash in school. It is our leaders who are all graduates and working across the country that normally assist us to secure the arms. It is strictly for defence and one of the rules of our group is that you must read and pass your exams on merit.” On the issue of rape, Ugochukwu said it only happened with female members. A fe­male intending member cannot undergo the rigorous process during the initiation. So, our leaders suggested that the best way to get them under oath is for every registered mem­ber to have s*x with her during initiation. She would be semi-conscious during the process so that she will not physically feel the pain. Ifechukwu’s case was better because we were only 20 registered men present on her day of initiation. All of our female members were raped,” he further said. In Rivers, 201 arrested Also in Rivers State, detectives attached to the Anti-Robbery and kidnapping squad ar­rested over 127 suspected cultists while the Anti-cultism section rounded up over 74 oth­ers base in Port Harcourt. The state Com­missioner of Police, Chris Ezike who confirmed their arrest, explained that the command was embarrassed by the high wave of kidnapping and armed robbery incident in the state. “We launched Oper­ation Keep Moving which was flagged off by Rivers State Governor, Barrister Nye­som Wike on July 2, 2015. The team had responded to distress calls from concerned citizens about criminal activities and other unlawful engagements in the area. According to the tip-off, the suspected cult members had announced that they were going to initiate new mem­bers of public who were interested. The team of RRS operatives, headed by Supol Olabode Aroge, immediately moved to scene. Those arrested were 29 male and nine females. They were immediately conveyed to the squad’s headquarters in Alausa, for further interrogation. Black Box of Crashed Bristow Helicopter Found

he black box of the Bristow Helicopter that crashed on Wednesday has been found. Commissioner of the Accident Investigation Bureau, Felix Abali, on Friday announced the news, Premium Times reports. The black box contains the cockpit voice and the flight data recorders. However, the content of the recordings are yet to be made public. Unemployment: If Buhari Govt Is Going To Fulfill Promises

During the pre-election period one of the key focuses of the All Progressives Congress was tackling high level of unemployment among the youths.

Interestingly, both the presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, and his running mate, Yemi Osinbajo, were quite specific about the number of positions to be created for unemployed Nigerians. It is worth recalling, however, that the figures were contradictory.
For example, in a Christmas statement the APC reportedly pledged “to create 3 million new jobs a year through public works programmes and by shifting the economy towards value-added production will be our primary economic target.”
Later on Professor Osinbajo said they would create 720,000 jobs in APC’s first year.
The controversy generated multiple reactions, as it was not clear if it would be 720,000 first year and 3mln starting from the second year. Some said the party seniors lacked the credible programme and accused them of lying to Nigerians. The others blamed the situation on the busy schedule and intensity of media activities.

Now, after the general elections and the successful inauguration of the new leadership, President Buhari does not backtrack on his statements about doing everything possible to ensure employment possibilities for the youth.

The country leader yesterday spoke at the event organized to mark the 2015 World Youth Day. President Buhari reiterated his commitment to eliminating the problem. The politician referred to the statistics saying that the African continent is getting younger, that his administration will go by the plan adopted by African leaders at the Malabo 2011 Summit.
“Some of you may recall that African leaders, at the Malabo 2011 Summit, committed themselves to providing employment, whether directly or indirectly, for at least 3% of its unemployed young people every year.”

Let us see what these 3% stand for in Nigeria.
Based on the information available on IEconomics website, which provides relevant statistical data for the countries all over the world, in the third quarter of 2014, the percentage of unemployed Nigerians corresponded 9.7%, with the country population, according to the July 2014 statistics, totalling 178,516,904 people.  Based on the 2014 calculation, the number of people set to be provided with jobs within 2014-2015 period (according to the Malabo 2011 Summit plan referred to yesterday) should roughly correspond at least 519,484 people.
Back to our times,
Number of jobs promised before the elections –  720,000 annually;
Number of jobs stipulated by the Malabo summit, to which Buhari referred to yesterday,- at least 519,484 annually.
Therefore, it can be concluded that as for now, Buhari’s administration does not contradict itself in its statements, considering the changeability of statistical variables. Approximately, it means that 519,484 newj obs is the minimum expected. Hopefully, the acting government will manage to reach the 720,000 target.

Stop Donating For Majek Fashek's Rehab - Group Pleads

The organisers of the Save Majek Fashek Campaign have put a stop to every donation in the name of the veteran reggae star’s rehabilitation.
The troubled star recently checked into a rehabilitation centre in Abuja where he is reportedly receiving therapy for drug and alcohol addiction.

Fans of the ailing Nigerian music legend were urged to contribute towards restoring the singer’s health some weeks ago. However, potential donors need not worry anymore as the rehabilitation bills have reportedly been taken care of by a well-meaning Nigerian philanthropist, Ayiri Emani.

According to the coordinator of the campaign, Monica Osarodion, the donation towards Fashek’s rehabilitation is no longer necessary as the new financier does not want public donations for it anymore.
“Please, effective from today, no one needs to send funds for rehabilitation of Majek. This is a condition from Chief Ayiri. NO MORE FUNDRAISING,” she wrote on Facebook. 
Meanwhile, about a week ago, another veteran reggae star, Orits Wiliki claimed that the main problem with Majek Fashek was not drug and alcohol. 

Six Suicide Bombers Arrested In Maiduguri Disclose Target

Six suspected suicide bombers, allegedly members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, were arrested on Wednesday, August 12, in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.
According to Daily Post, the men were detained by members of the civilian Joint Task Force in the area and handed over to the troops. The arrest was said to have come shortly after the local vigilante had reported a threat letter containing that more attacks were coming.
Vigilante Umar Hassan disclosed that the suspected bombers had tried to disguise as medicine sellers, hiding the explosive devices under the basket:
“They pretended to be medicine vendors selling paracetamol, panadol and other tablets. When we arrested them, one of them who confessed, said they were to target Maiduguri Monday market. We handed them to soldiers.”

Maiduguri Monday market was rocked by two dire explosions on March 10, 2015. Scores of people were killed in the attack purportedly launched by Boko Haram insurgents. In January of the same year the troubled market was attacked by a suicide bomber, with the death toll having reached 20 people.
Meanwhile recent reports provided that the Nigerian military were on August 11 engaged in the battle with Boko Haram terrorists in Kayamula village located near Maiduguri. The official confirmation is yet expected from the military.
